The Yokohama Kohoku Lounge publishes an annual publication with reports, news, and insights about the educational center. For 2021’s publications they commissioned Whatever Works to design the cover based on this year’s theme “Everything happens under the rainbow”.

To get the ever-friendly and welcoming spirit of the institution across, we chose a feel-good aesthetic and chose to represent some of the members and activities of the center as animals and characters relevant to Japanese culture.
